      1. Atlas
        • No spinous process
        • Articular facet for odontoid process
        • No body
      2. Axis
        • Odontoid process(or dens)
      3. C3 to C7
    2. Thoracic vertebrae(T1-T12)
    3. Lumbar vertebrae(L1-L5)
      • They have large vertebral body for axial support.
    4. Sacrum (S1-S5)
    5. coccys
  2. Sternum
    • Jugular notch
    • Manubrium
    • Sternal angle
    • Body of sternum
    • Xiphoid process
  3. Ribs
    1. True ribs (rib 1 to 7)
      • First rib attaches on the manubrium
      • Second rib attaches on the sternal angle
    2. False ribs( rib 8 to 12)
    3. Floating ribs( rib 11 to 12)
  • List of the palpation
    1. C7
    2. T12 and the twelves rib
    3. L4 and top of the iliac crest
    4. T7 and inferior angle of scapula
    5. T2 or T3 and supirior angle of scapula
    6. Transcerse process of C1
    7. Sternal angle
    8. Jugular notch
    9. Xyphoid process
    10. First rib
