      1. Nutation 
        • It refers to the forward and downward (anterior-inferior) movement of the sacroiliac joint. 
        • The tailbone coccyx moves back in relation to the hip bone during this motion.
      2. Counternutation
        • which refers to the backward and upward (posterior-superior) movement of the joint. 
        • The tailbone (coccyx) moves forward in relation to the hip bone during this motion.
