- A Trigger Point (TrP) is a hyperirritable spot, a palpable nodule in the taut bands of the skeletal muscles’ fascia.

 - How to release the trigger point
- Warm up the muscle
- Heat hydrotherapy for 5-10 minutes
 - Effleurage and petrissage to warm up the muscle
- 3 times kneading -> 3 times stripping -> 3 times kneading
 
 
 - Thumb or finger stripping to feel the muscle fibers
 - Feel the taut band, or jumping response. That is the trigger point. Comfirm that you are locating on the right muscle by isometric action.
 - Ischemic compression for 1-2 minutes
- Keep communication with the client by asking
- How is the pain scale? The ideal pain scale is “7”
 - Ask about the referral pain

 - Release the compression on trigger point ; when the client feels the pain diminished, or aftrer 1-2 minutes compression
 - Flush the area for 30 seconds to remove the toxins(unidirectional towards to the heart)
 - Passive stretch for 30 seconds. No bouncing movement
 - Heat again for another 3-5 minutes to relax it
 
 - Warm up the muscle
