- It is a condition that causes pain and swelling below the knee joint, where the patellar tendon attaches to the top of the shinbone (tibia), a spot called the tibial tuberosity.

- Age : Children hood, adolescents
- Activity
- Symptoms
- Knee pain and tenderness at the tibial tubercle
- Swelling at the tibial tubercle
- Tight muscles in the front or back of the thigh
- Treatment
- Stretching exercises : quadriceps and hamstring muscles
- Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- Ice. Icing the inflamed area may reduce pain and swelling.
- If quadriceps and hamstrings, ITB are tight : Trp, fascia, swedish massage ( but, contraindicate on pain area)
